Cyclic Order of “Devolution-Evolution” of Atma
The infinite cyclic order of “Generation-Operation-Destruction” (which we call GOD) – is the eternal phenomenon within the infinite cosmic universe. The word “Atma (Atman)” appears common in different forms and contexts. It is very similar to the word “Allotropy” in science where structurally the same “element” has different physical forms. In decades of my reading and listening to the learned scholars, I have come across these expressions – ranging from microcosm to macrocosm as also the manifest to unmanifest. Understanding “The Soul”
If you roll a “Powerful Magnet” in a heap of “Iron Dust” what will you see? A huge quantum of “iron dust” collecting & sticking to the magnet all round and hiding the magnet totally from our view. We cannot even imagine the original shape of the magnet, till the dust is totally removed to expose the magnet hidden in the core of that mass. The magnetism of that “core magnet” pervades & permeates to make every particle of the iron dust an individual live magnet, to hold together the surrounding iron dust particles. The “Cells” that make up our body are exactly like that iron dust. The magnetism of “This Magnet” owning & operating the body is what we call “The Soul”. Every cell is a live individual as long as the soul is present. The moment it vacates the body of cells, the cells disintegrate into 5 separate elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Gas & Space) and go back to their respective abodes from where they were collected to form the body.
Spiritualism is fully advanced “Science & Technology”
We have seen how technology has been transforming every sphere in our lives in the last 100 years! As we advance … further advancement is progressively getting accelerated … taking lesser time for quantum jumps! Where will this end finally? We will end in “Spirituality”. How?
Computer sizes have been shrinking. What would have occupied a building will now fit into our palm! As miniaturization continues, things are becoming smaller and smaller – but with their abilities growing bigger and bigger! We are now talking of Nano-technology (molecular structural manipulation towards specific functionality). It will then move towards atoms and then sub-atomic particles and finally through allotropic forms of pure energy to – “Pure Consciousness”. Read the rest of this entry
Holistic Viewpoint on Vegetarianism
Origin of “Life” on earth needed only 3 essential components – sunlight, minerals of earth and water. Life appears to have begun in water few billion years ago (Propelled by a Supreme Entity we may call – God / Nature) – first in the form of single cell bacteria, thriving by consuming dissolved minerals of water. Concurrently or later, plant life also began on earth in the form of Lichen (Algae) – propelled by the same supreme entity – by combining minerals and transforming it into plants by using water as the main element for ingesting food, and using sun light as the source of energy for the process.
Evolution of life progressed with time, to higher forms from the lower, both in water and on earth. On careful observation we can broadly find two main categories of life on earth – animals that can move on their own from their place of birth to another location in search food for survival – and the plants which stay where they are born and draw food from the minerals of earth with the help of water, with no capability to move to another location. This resulted in the plants becoming the source food for the animals – as plants cannot run and escape. Read the rest of this entry
